Volunteer Position for Culinary Art Ambassador to the Georgetown Healthy Food Initiative
Commitment: 2-4 hours a week
Are you a local Georgetown artist with a palette for pixels and a flair for flavor? Do you dream of a sweet symphony of flavors, where each ingredient harmonizes like colors on a canvas? If so, join us at the Georgetown Healthy Food Coalition, where your passion for food and art come together.
Responsibilities:
- Multimedia design: Bring your artistic touch to create a visually appealing website that truly captures the essence of Georgetown’s diverse food scene. Collaborate with our marketing teams to design an interactive social media and website platform that educates and connects visitors on our local food systems.
- Visual Storyteller: Turn raw ideas into visually compelling content for presentations, events, and promotional materials. Infuse a dash of creativity into our advocacy efforts, making them as appealing as a freshly baked batch of cookies.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in graphic design tools (Adobe Creative Suite (photoshop, illustrator, InDesign, Premiere and After Effects), 3D digital modeling (Rhino, Sketchup, Blender) and any other hand media.
- Web design and development skills, animation, and gifs
- Ability to redesign traditional advertisement and marketing roles.
